Sleeve Length
Correct sleeve length is one that is in proportion to the figure and positively influences the overall silhouette of the the garment.
Cap....very very short. It is usually an extension of the shoulder and does not continue under the arm.
Short.... lies with the lower edge straight across the upper arm.
Above-elbow.... the arm above the elbow is completely covered by the sleeve.
Three-quarter.... half way between the elbow and wrist bone.
Seven-eighths....2 inches above the wrist.
Wrist.... just above the prominent wrist bone.
Long.... one inch below the wrist bone but before reaching the hand.
